"Don’t settle. Don’t finish crappy books. If you don’t like the menu, leave the restaurant. If you’re not on the right path, get off it."-Chris Brogan (via l-eer)

Dua for the Fourteenth Day of Ramadhan
O Allah do not let indecision and confusion take hold of me, in this month, nor errors and lapses get the better of me, nor let misfortune and disaster make me its target, through Thy power O He who makes powerful those who willingly submit to Him.
A couple of reminders before reading the cases below, watching the videos and thinking about whether you should donate to this cause.
Omar (RA) used to say about giving zakat, “The person receiving zakat should be given zakat in a way that they’ll never have to ask again.”
Abu Hurayrah (RA) narrated that the Prophet (SAW) said, “Every day two angels come down from Heaven and one of them says, O Allah compensate every person who spends in your cause and the other angel says O Allah destroy every person who holds their wealth back.”
And last but not least Allah (SWT) said in the Qur’an, “The likeness of those who spend for Allah’s sake is as the likeness of a grain of corn, it grows seven ears, every single ear has a hundred grains, and Allah multiplies for whom he wills and Allah is sufficient for His creatures’ needs, All-Knower.”
Why are you so loyal to this life? It has given you nothing but struggle. Why do you love this duniya so deeply? It has given you nothing but heartache. Why do you conform to the whispers of Shaytan? He wants nothing but hell for you. Why do you ignore Allah’s advice so foolishly? He wants nothing but Jannah for you.
